Privacy policy built around what Vivatravel actually does.

Vivatravel is a local travel planning app. The codebase shows no account system and no server-side sync flow, so this policy is written to match that behavior in a clear, App Store friendly format.

Effective date: May 19, 2026. Update this date if you publish the policy later.

At a glance

Trips, notes, attraction favorites, and user-edited details stay on the device. The app only touches Photos when the user chooses to upload an attraction image.

Privacy Policy

This policy can be used as the App Store privacy URL for Vivatravel. Replace the support email with your own contact if needed before final submission.

1. Information We Store

  • Trip records such as destination, dates, status, and expense.
  • Travel notes created in the Notes tab.
  • Attraction details, categories, favorites, and any image the user chooses to attach.
  • Local settings such as the optional Trip PIN and onboarding flag.

2. How Information Is Used

  • To display and manage trip planning content inside the app.
  • To generate analytics, history timelines, and charts on the device.
  • To allow optional backups through the system share sheet.
  • To protect the Trips tab with a local PIN when the user enables it.

3. Data Sharing

  • Vivatravel does not sell personal information.
  • Vivatravel does not require user accounts or cloud synchronization for core features.
  • When the user exports a CSV or shares content, the user controls where that file goes.
  • Photos are only accessed when the user explicitly uploads or changes an attraction image.

4. Permissions

  • Photos permission is requested only for attraction image selection.
  • The app may use standard iOS capabilities such as the share sheet and photo picker.
  • No location permission is required by the current app code.

5. Retention and Deletion

  • Information remains on the device until the user deletes it or clears app data.
  • The Profile tab includes a Clear Data action that removes trips, notes, attraction edits, and the PIN from local storage.
  • If the user removes the app, local data stored by the app is removed with it.
